Aircraft Spins Wildly into Palm Trees at Popular California Coast
A helicopter hovering above a popular southern California shoreline suddenly started spinning uncontrollably, ultimately dropping height and plunging into a row of palm groves as spectators observed.
Videos posted on the internet depict the chopper beginning to twirl near Huntington Beach then falling near the perimeter of the shore, where it ends up lodged among palms and a steps close to the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Details
Emergency responders reported five persons were taken to hospital comprising two who were in the helicopter and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the crash on the weekend.
Three persons on the street were harmed. Information on their wounds were still under review.
What led to the incident was not immediately released.
